The Story of Manduhai

The legend of Manduhai, the greatest Mongol warrior after Chingiss Khan (Gengis Khan):

Manduul, the decendant of Chingiss Khan and leader of the Mongols, first saw the young Manduhai while on a hunting trip. Soon they were married and had a child. Manduul died suddenly, and without an heir old enough to lead, the empire was thrown into chaos.  Many of the decendants of the great Khan were killed to keep them from the thrown.

Manduhai hid her baby boy and gained control of the Mongol armies.  She became an excellent leader and for years successfully defended her throne against all attackers.  When her son Dayan was finally old enough, Manduhai declared him khan and married him to retain control of the empire.

A fierce warrior, Manduhai would lead her troops to battle, charging to the head of the pack to draw first blood.  Even while pregnant, Manduhai continued to fight. Finally, Dayan was seduced by the neice of an enemy of Manduhai, and Manduhai was poisoned.

Because of Manduhai's perserverance, the bloodline of Chingiss Khan was continued.
