This is the traditional house used by the nomadic herders of Mongolia. Many people know this house by the name "yurt", but the real name is "ger" (pronounced "gear"). This ger has been on display at Festival of Nations, Edina Art Center, Crown College, Circus Juventas "Yulong" show and other places, giving thousands of people in Minnesota a unique chance to see how people live on the other side of the world.
